This Peanut Butter Banana Milk Shake Smoothie is a lower calorie and lighter dessert. With less than 1/2 of the calories of a traditional milk shake. The frozen bananas cream up like ice cream, the peanut butter adds a lovely yet subtle flavor. Em (my 19 month old daughter) loved this. I hope you do too.

Dessert? I'm trying to figure out how I can freeze blast those bananas so I can have one NOW!
This looks amazing!!
Oh My Gosh!! I am so glad I stopped over here. I am going to try this with my kefir tomorrow morning. I will use almond butter instead of peanut butter.

great breakfast smoothie!
We did this last week and the boys really enjoyed them. I'm sure Em thought this was quite the treat.
Nice job! I work in a coffee shop where we make smoothies and other beverages. I'm totally making this next time I go in!
ive become obsessed with peanut butter recently, i feel like ive regressed to a 5 year old cos it's all i want to eat! this looks heavenly, and will surely prolong my craze!
I made this smoothie this morning and it was very tasty, but very rich! I think maybe next time I will use less peanut butter, just a personal preference. Thanks for the great recipe! :]
How did you make that dark brown swirly on top? Is that chocolate?
I love the fact that this is lower in calories. I made it yesterday morning and it was really really good! I could have one of these every morning! I put a bit more peanut butter next time – I love PB!
This is a snap to make and tasty as well. I agree with another poster it did seem really rich so I may put just a tad less peanut butter to lessen the richness a bit the next time I make it.
Yummy, thanks for sharing this recipe. My kids and I loved it. I made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches wit it. You can never have too much peanut butter 🙂
You’d have no idea this is healthier. It tastes just like a milkshake!! I’ll be making these for my kids too, to get their opinion. I’m sure they’ll love it!
