Black Russian Drink
The Black Russian is a 2 ingredient classic cocktail and the basis for several cocktails that came from this fabulous combination. The drink is simply 2 ingredients, served over ice.
Add cream and its called a White Russian. As soon as Bailey’s was released some brilliant cocktail artist thought to replace the cream of the white Russian with Bailey’s and thus the Mudslide was born. Take that one step further and you have my old classic favorite Frozen Mudslide.
So you see the Black Russian Cocktail may be simple, but its perfect simplicity led to brilliant creations.

While you were listing spin-off drinks you forgot my favorite, The Colorado Bulldog! Pour the Black Russian in a tall glass of ice, add milk(or Half&half) top with a splash of Coke. Yummie!
White Russian is my favorite and I have never tried a black russian so this was my first one, it was good and strong!
