The creamiest and fluffiest dessert dip to ever cross your lips is here. Peppermint and decadent chocolate come together to create the dreamiest treat to hit my kitchen in a long time! Only 4 ingredients and this simple recipe is all yours.
I am so excited that it is finally December. It is my favorite month of the year and we completely enjoy it, every year we have a Christmas party and invite our closest friends and family. It gives me a chance to create new holiday recipes and capture holiday moments with the people we love.
Of course, I love to feed people and party planning is a hobby of mine. That said, my parties have become a simpler version of what they once were so I can spend more time enjoying the moment and less time in the kitchen. Even though I look for quick and easy ideas, sacrificing flavor is not an option.
I have had truffles on my mind all week and decided I needed them in my life. Chilling, rolling, dipping and drying was a little much for this gal. So I whipped up and out of this world truffle dip with the decadence that a truffle brings without the time and mess. It is perfectly sweet without adding powdered sugar.
It all starts with chocolate chips and Peppermint Chocolate Truffle creamer from International Delight. The chocolate is melted and mixed with the creamer, then cream cheese and marshmallow. Let it chill. Then whip it, garnish and serve. It is that easy!
Chad went crazy over this dessert. We tried it with every dippable food in the house and decided that pretzels are the perfect match for this flavor combination, but fruit and cookies are great options too. My 4 year old made a pretty convincing argument that it didn’t need a carrying device, a spoon was good enough for her and it was for me too.

Hi Donna, I am not in the USA (just now) and would like to try this recipe. Can you suggest anything in replacement of the flavored creamer? Thanks!
I think you can use heavy crram/double cream. However, you may have to adjust how much.

Does this work with with semi sweet or dark chocolate chips?
Absolutely! It would take on a deeper chocolate and richer flavor with semi-sweet or dark. Enjoy and let us know how it goes.
Well this looks pretty fantastic Donna! Blessings to you and yours 🙂
This was amazing with pretzel sticks. Made it for Christmas eve and the kids all loved it!
