Super Bowl Recipes
I have to admit, I am not a big TV sports fan. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good game in the ballpark — baseball, football, volleyball, you name it!
But watching sports on TV has never done anything for me… EXCEPT for the Super Bowl. I love to watch that game, and it’s only made better by throwing a really fun party.
Every one of my Super Bowl parties (whether I’m planning for 2 or 22) has four food elements: bite size food, burgers & sandwiches, dips & salsa, and sweet treats!
I’ve combed through all of them to bring you more than 40 of our best Super Bowl foods to help simplify your Super Bowl party planning. Go team!!!

Super Bowl Bite Size Food
I don’t know about you, but some of my favorite Super Bowl recipes are the kind you can pop in your mouth! Bite-sized appetizers are perfect for snacking and easy to make in large batches too.
You might not even need to provide plates, since everyone can eat right off of the tray. However, you will need plenty of napkins!
Jalapeño Popper Pretzel Bombs combine soft and chewy pretzel bites with ooey gooey cheese, crispy bacon, and spicy jalapeños. It’s one of the best Super Bowl recipes for tailgating too!
Chicken Parmesan Sliders feature slices of pan fried chicken, marinara sausage, and piles of mozzarella cheese on toasted dinner rolls. Brush with garlic butter and top with Parmesan cheese for a heavenly and party-ready snack!
These Buffalo Chicken Meatballs are a great choice if your friends and family devour wings. They’ve got all the spicy chicken flavors you love, but you can make large batches at a time so you won’t run out. Make them fresh or freeze and reheat later.
This Homemade Pepperoni Pizza Bites Recipe makes pizza even more fun to eat! Combine your favorite toppings and plenty of cheese into a scrumptious, chewy bread bite. Plus, you can make this Super Bowl party food ahead of time!
Ooey Gooey Soft Pretzels with Cheese Center are the perfect bite-size appetizer to
impress your guests. No need for dip — it’s packed right into the bread and oozes out with every bite! Easy to make in under an hour.
Spicy Meatballs with Bacon and Jalapeno are incredibly moist and flavorful — and even better than traditional jalapeno poppers. If you love Southwestern flavors, you’ll love this recipe. And since they’re made with ground turkey, they’re extra lean too!
Bacon Double Cheeseburger Pull Apart Bread is bursting with ooey gooey cheese, seasoned ground beef, and plenty of bacon. Fun to make and even more fun to eat! Prep this stuffed sourdough recipe in 25 minutes and let the oven do the rest.
Philly Cheesesteak Bombs take everything you love about the popular sandwich and stuff it into a chewy, pretzel dough bomb. The bread has even more flavor than usual, thanks to a secret ingredient. One of the best Super Bowl foods for a day on the couch!
Perfectly poppable, these Bacon Cheeseburger Cups are ready in 30 minutes or less and are made with simple ingredients. The texture is soft, tender, and a little buttery — just like a hamburger bun — but the flavor is undeniably like your favorite cheeseburger!
This Hooter’s Fried Pickles Copycat Recipe is a Southern favorite! Crisp and tangy dill pickles are deep fried to a golden brown, ready for all your favorite dips. Skip the crowds or waiting around for takeout and make your favorite fried pickles at home! Ready in 30 minutes.
Bacon Cheddar Ranch Pull Apart Bread is insanely, addictively delish! Easier and cheesier than any other stuffed bread you’ve tried, each bite is bursting with savory, tangy flavor. I recommend making a few because everyone will be fighting over the last piece!
While Balsamic Meatloaf Meatballs are the perfect easy dinner, they also make one of the best Super Bowl recipes! They’re moist and flavorful and always hit the spot. Plus, these ultra-savory bites are easy to make ahead and freeze.
Make Easy Baked Hawaiian Meatballs instead of the usual crockpot version with BBQ sauce and jam. The tangy pineapple glaze is a welcome and refreshing break from all the heavy and cheesy dishes, and the texture is even better when meatballs are homemade.
Homemade Mozzarella Sticks are soo much better than anything you can find in the freezer aisle, and this recipe gives you more bang for your buck too! All you need are cheese sticks and ingredients for breading, and each batch fries up in 15 minutes or less.
Make Crock Pot Buffalo Chicken Wings with only 4 ingredients and claim the title for best wings at the party! Seriously, these are finger-lickin’ good, and you hardly have to do any work. Just add everything to your slow cooker and turn it on!
Super Bowl Burgers & Sandwiches
Game day can make everyone hungry, especially if you’re watching the pre-game footage or things run into overtime.
Keep the grumbles at bay with heartier Super Bowl party food like savory sandwiches and juicy burgers. Be sure to have all the fixins available too!
Make Maid Rite Loose Meat Sandwiches at home that taste just like the original. They may look like Sloppy Joes, but the flavor is sooo much better! Keep it simple with pickle slices or add all your favorite burger toppings.
Buffalo Chicken Burgers have all the spicy, zesty flavor of hot wings but in juicy sandwich form! A soft pretzel roll and tangy blue cheese crumbles tie the whole thing together, leaving your taste buds tingling and your belly full.
My Best Ever Spicy Sloppy Joe Recipe is nothing like you’ve ever tried. Move aside, canned versions — say hello to loads of taco meat flavor piled high on a toasted bun! I like to add corn chips for crunch and cooling cilantro, but there are so many toppings to choose from.
BBQ Pulled Chicken Sliders with Zesty Italian Dressing have the most amazing flavor. And since the meat is cooked in the crockpot, they’re super easy to throw together! Start toasting the buns as soon as guests arrive, then let them assemble their own before the game begins.
This Barbecue Bacon Smokehouse Burger is easy to make but tastes like it came from a gourmet restaurant. It’s our most popular burger recipe, so you know it’s good. Topped with our signature BBQ sauce and the creamiest beer cheese, you’ll crave this burger again and again.
Monte Cristo Sandwiches may not be the most traditional Super Bowl party food, but once you take a bite of this Disneyland copycat, you’ll understand why it’s on the list! Extra crispy and the perfect balance of savory and sweet, these sandwiches are even better with a side of jam.
Super Bowl Dips & Salsa
I know I said poppable snacks were my favorite, but any kind of dip is a close second — and sometimes you can combine the two!
Party planning is easiest when you can make the food ahead of time, and every one of these Super Bowl recipes fits the bill. Stash them in the fridge and reheat if needed, or keep them warm in a slow cooker!
This Spicy Queso Blanco Cheese Sauce is inspired by Applebee’s recipe, loaded with 2 types of cheese, fresh herbs, and just enough heat to make your tongue tingle. Pair it with chips and dippers or drizzle it over all your Tex-Mex favorites.
The Best Ever 7 Layer Mexican Bean Dip features refried beans, chicken rice, salsa verde, seasoned ground beef, enchilada sauce, olives, and cheese cheese cheese!! We serve this at every party we throw, and there’s never a drop left!
4 Layer Pizza Dip adds a fun twist to the traditional party food. Packed with layers of gooey cheese, tangy marinara, and your favorite pizza toppings, it’s even better when piled onto freshly baked breadsticks.
Oven Baked Queso Dip is one of the best Super Bowl foods when you need something easy to make. Just mix everything together and pop it in the oven for an hour! Plus, it tastes incredible with all your favorite dippers — chips, crackers, pretzel bites, veggies, and more!
This Healthy Guacamole Recipe lets you enjoy your favorite party snack without the guilt! Although a secret ingredient cuts the calories and fat in half, it still tastes just as amazing as any restaurant version. You won’t believe it when you try it!
This Copycat Chipotle Guacamole Recipe is loaded with fresh ingredients and tastes just like the restaurant version — but you can make it for a fraction of the cost. Forget stingy little cups that run out too soon. Enjoy a whole bowl to yourself and make an extra for everyone else!
My 5-Minute Fire Roasted Salsa had to make it onto this list of Super Bowl recipes… because what’s a party without chips and salsa?? This comes out so flavorful that no one will know it’s made with canned tomatoes. That’s right! It’s my little secret for a quick and easy appetizer.
Mississippi Sin Dip sure tastes sinful, but you won’t be able to resist another bite! Deliciously creamy, a little bit spicy, and peppered with crispy bits of bacon, this dip will be the talk of the tailgate!
Speaking of creamy, Shrimp Dip with Cream Cheese is another Super Bowl party food favorite that gets requested all the time. This retro recipe sure is making a comeback, and with plump and juicy bits of shrimp, it’s not hard to see why. And it’s super easy to make!
Easy Pico de Gallo combines bright, fresh ingredients into one tasty dip! Grab a few things from the produce aisle (or your garden) and create the most flavorful condiment in minutes. Serve with chips or spoon over all your favorite Mexican dishes.
Super Bowl Sweet Treats
Everyone focuses so much on savory recipes for Super Bowl Sunday that they often forget about dessert! And I’m not talking about a container of cookies or cupcakes from the store, either.
The best Super Bowl recipes are homemade and convenient, and I’ve rounded up the sweets that always disappear the fastest. They’re sure to be a winner at your party too!
Caramel Apple Pie Bombs are bursting with fall flavor from the spiced apple filling and creamy, melted caramels. It’s one of my favorite recipes for Super Bowl Sunday and holidays alike!
Mint Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip is so good, you’ll want to eat it by the spoonful — and since it’s egg-free, you can!! It has the perfect balance of chocolate and mint in a sweet and refreshing treat.
Caramel Fudge Brownies are rich and decadent, with gooey caramel and melted chocolate chip stuffed into the center, plus more on top. This recipe is a winner at any party or bake sale!!
Everyone has a Lemon Bar Recipe, but I promise this one is the very best! It comes together with just 7 ingredients, including fresh lemon juice and zest. Be sure to make a double batch because these disappear like magic!
My 3 Ingredient Brownies Recipe is a blue ribbon winner. All you need are one bowl, one pan, and 5 minutes to get these babies into the oven, but everyone will be raving about how good they are. The perfect easy dessert!!
Reese’s Brownies with Peanut Butter Fudge Frosting is one of my favorite Super Bowl recipes to make. Everything about this dessert screams over the top, and that’s exactly the energy you want to bring to the big game. Loaded with layer after layer of chocolate and peanut butter, your tastebuds (and guests!) will thank you.
These Shortbread Pecan Pie Bars are so good that people offer to pay me for them during the holidays! The gooey, caramelized nutty topping perfectly complements the tender and buttery crust. Keep the recipe handy, because everyone will want a copy!
No Bake Avalanche Cookies are crispy, crunchy, and creamy little bites of heaven. Don’t let the look fool you — they might seem simple, but the flavor is anything but! Better yet, you can make large batches in no time so you’ll never run out. Score!
Crunchy Caramel Peanut Butter Popcorn tastes just like Cracker Jack and is so easy to make! Plus, it’s always fresh and never stale so you can gobble it down by the handful without cracking a tooth. You’ll have to come up with your own prizes, though!
Lazy Day Bacon Cinnamon Rolls are proof that bacon makes everything better! This 2 ingredient recipe — yes, just 2 ingredients — makes the gooiest, most flavorful cinnamon buns that no one will believe they’re not homemade!

My keyboard is not happy. Apparently drooling all over it is not good for the components.
LOL. Well then… Wipe. Drool. Repeat. XO
Where do you come up with this stuff? Italian pulled chicken sandwich?
