Cook sausage for 8 minutes, then add tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, then set aside.
Combine cheeses and egg. Then spread meat sauce onto a 13×9-inch baking dish. Top with noodles, half the ricotta cheese mixture, and one-third of the sauce. Repeat layers.
