Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay one sheet of pastry dough flat on the baking sheet and spread the Nutella over it. Lay the other sheet on top.
Cut a large triangle out of the pastry. Cut slices down both sides of the tree, parallel to the base. Twist these pieces a few times and lay flat. Cut a square and stars from remaining scraps.
