KEY INGREDIENTS

Preheat the air fryer and place the wings in a large bowl. Add the baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and pepper and toss to combine.

Spray the air fryer basket and place the wings in the basket in a single layer. Air fry for 12 minutes, flip, and air fry an additional 12 minutes.

Place the sugar, vinegar, water, ginger, garlic, and chili sauce in a saucepot. Whisk to combine and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.

Make a cornstarch slurry and once the sauce comes to a boil, stream in the slurry while whisking. Cook until thickened and take off the heat. Toss wings in the sauce.
