Best S'mores Cake Recipe (Chocolate Marshmallow Poke Cake)
Ingredients
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- egg, water, and oil, per direction on box
- 2 jars marshmallow topping
- 2 Hershey bars, broken into pieces
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 4 graham crackers, broken into pieces
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and spray a 9x13 inch pan with nonstick spray.
- Prepare the cake mix per the directions on the box and bake following the directions.
- Allow the cake to cool.
- Poke the cake all over using the back of a thin wooden spoon or a chopstick.
- Warm the marshmallow topping in the microwave for 1 minute, pour the topping over the cake, making sure to coat the cake evenly.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers, stir until combined.
- Evenly sprinkle the marshmallow mixture over the top of the cake.
- Place the pan under the broiler for 30 seconds to 1 minute until the marshmallows are golden brown.
