- Baking Powder – This is the secret ingredient for extra crispy chicken skin!
- Parmesan – Fresh is always best, but packages will work in a pinch. You’ll need finely grated cheese for the sauce, then shreds for sprinkling on before serving.
- Unsalted Butter – Parmesan cheese is naturally salty, so stick with unsalted butter for the sauce.

I used fresh poultry for this garlic parmesan wings recipe, but there is no reason you can’t use frozen if you prefer.
Just make sure that the internal temperature reads 165°F when you remove them.
That will depend on the size and type of air fryer you have. Regardless, it’s important to place the parmesan garlic wings in a single layer and be sure not to crowd them.

Keep a lined baking sheet in an oven preheated to 250°F — either parchment or aluminum foil will work.
As each batch of garlic parmesan wings comes out of the air fryer, transfer them to the pan. They’ll stay hot and crispy until it’s time to get them on the table!
Storing Leftover Parmesan Garlic Wings
Place leftovers in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days.
You can also freeze garlic parmesan wings for 4 to 6 months! Transfer to the refrigerator the night before serving to thaw.
